Fresh particulars have surfaced concerning the tragic demises of renowned filmmaker Rob Reiner and artist Michele Singer Reiner, whose remains were located at their Brentwood, Los Angeles home on Sunday.

The Initial Report

A source indicates referencing a person close to the family, a practitioner arriving for an appointment initially became concerned after being unable to gain access the home. The therapist then reached out to the couple's daughter, Romy Reiner, who lives nearby.

Upon entering the residence, Romy discovered her father's body. It is said she then exited the property overwhelmed with grief, without knowing at that moment that her mother's body was also present. Another individual who had gone with her promptly called 911. Following this, emergency responders found Michele Singer Reiner's body.

Criminal Developments

Law enforcement have charged the couple's 32-year-old son, Nick Reiner, with two counts of first-degree murder, as well as the charge related to a weapon, said to be a knife. He is now being held and is ineligible for bail.
